GERRY JOE WEISE


Gerry Joe Weise (born 1959) is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter, from Sydney. A professional musician since 1976, he has toured Australia, the USA, Europe, Poland, Russia, Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Polynesia, the Azores Isles, Scandinavia and New Zealand. Throughout his many tours, he has played with Buddy Guy, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, and Noel Redding. Juma Sultan (ex-Jimi Hendrix) has recently been a band member for European and USA Festivals. 

He has performed at the following festivals: 1992 Chicago Blues Festival Tour, 1992 San Francisco Blues Festival Tour, 1994 Cognac Blues Passions (France), 1995 Cahors Blues Festival (France), 1996 30th Jimi Hendrix Commemoration Festival, 1999 Blues de Graves Festival Leognan (France), 2008 Santa Maria Blues Festival (Azores), 2009 Grosses Guitares Festival (France), 2009 Scottsdale Art Fest Arizona (USA), 2010 Blues en VO Festival (Paris), 2013 Hookrock Festival (Belgium), 2014 Gardenstock Art and Music Festival Illinois (USA), 2014 Blues on Broadbeach Festival (Australia), 2017 and 2018 Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Fest (Australia). He has released 15 albums, one triple album, and four singles with Blues Breaking Records in Chicago.
