AUTOHAZE

Autohaze was an alternative rock band from Melbourne formed in the early 1990's. Their first lineup Tim Jackson (vocals, guitar), Chris Chapple (guitar), David Lederer (drums) and Kerrie Hickin (bass) recorded their first single ''Undecided / Guess It's More'' on the Summershine label. The reviews were positive. Sometime during their tenure Adam Fennesy replaced Kerrie Chicken and Andrew Nunns replaced David Lederer. The band toured the USA in 1995 including New York. They released three albums: 'Weight Of The Sky', 'Magneto' and 'Counter Clockwise'. A special compilation called 'Stumblebum' was released in the UK in '93 via Creation Records.

  2. Autohaze were an amazing Rock Band.
Every song was of brilliant quality.
Tim Jackson is a fantastic song writer.
They had a solid fan base that supported them at gigs wherever they played.
Autohaze should have cabinets and shelves full of ARIA awards, however due to poor management and lack of radio play, they don't.
Some of my best nights were at an Autohaze gig.
I own all their albums and singles and rarities.
The World is a much better place for having Autohaze and their music in it.

  3. Thanks Kimbo, I stumbled on your site and have been reminiscing on your artists list from the 90’s. I loved this Autohaze album, I can’t believe they didn’t make it big. Off to dig through my old CD boxes.
