MARTY ROSE

Marty Rose blasted onto the scene with a Mushroom Records recording contract in 1977, based solely on raw talent and his first single ''Memories of You''. This single was also released in NZ. In 1982 Marty formed the first electronic duo with the very talented Adrian Scott of Air Supply called Bi-Vocal, going onto record the single ''Words Can Never Say'' also on the Mushroom Label. During 1984 he continued to drive his career to the top while touring Australia and New Zealand as the front man for the great Jeff “Skunk” Baxter of Steely Dan and Doobie Brothers fame.

Over the past 40 years Marty has consistently delivered what audiences throughout Australia want to hear – good songs played by one of Australia’s top musicians. By 1989 Marty’s career had blossomed to the point where Bert Newton personally requested that he perform on a regular basis. He has played for the Who’s Who of Australia (private parties for Kerry Packer, Lloyd Williams, Alan Bond, Christopher Skase, Prince Charles and Lady Diana, Billy Joel, Elton John and even the Pope) – and continues to be in great demand.
