PARADIDDLE


Paradiddle was a traditional folk band that formed in 1978 out of Melbourne with Greg Rough, Mark Leehy, Rob Fairbairn, Kev O'Mara and Marilyn Hodgson. They released their first album 'Wait Till The World Gets Around' in 1978 on the Pumphandle label. Hodgson left the band was replaced by bass player Athalie Brooks for their second album 'Sorry To Keep You Waiting' (1980). They disbanded in 1980 but reformed adding Helmut Lopaczuk and Judy Turner to cut their third album 'Eureka - Live At The Stockade', recorded at the Stockade Hotel in Carlton in 1983.
