BELL JAR

Bell Jar was formed in Sydney in the mid 80s by friends who were still at school. They released a number of singles, an EP and a mini album before they released their first album 'Glass' in 1990 on the Festival label. Unfortunately, they disbanded not long after. Lead singer Raoul Graf formed The Infidels and recorded successful records with Ed Kuepper and Marty Wilson-Piper from The Church.

  2. These guys were awesome, just never got it all together. Love Like Rain was one of the best Aussie songs or that era.

  3. One memorable night I saw them and Raoul was trying to go full Bono Vox with a leg on the foldback thrusting the mic at the audience waiting for them to fill in the chorus....but they didn't. A hilarious Spinal Tap moment.
