DENIS WILLIAMS AND THE DELAWARES

The younger brother of popular Sydney Leedon label recording artist Warren Williams formed his group The Delawares in the mid 60s. Barry Gibb wrote both sides of their debut single ''Bad Girl / They Say''. Drummer Laurie Wardman played on the Bee Gees recordings, "Claustrophobia" and ''Could It Be'' off their first album. The band released one more single in 1966 and not long after disbanded. Rhythm guitarist Mike Morris would go on to form The Allusions and bass player Bob Daisley went on to international acclaim playing with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Ozzy Osbourne.
