The Mint recorded on Ramrod records which was the joint venture of the Atlantics, ex-50s rocker Johnny Rebb (who became their lead singer from the mid-60s for half a decade), and their manager Syd McDonagh. Ramrod issued some excellent, creative and predominantly self-written singles by the Atlantics, Rebb's brother Russ Kruger, Motivation and the Mint. Rebb produced many of the Mint's singles. The harmonies of the band were outstanding and they could have gone a long way, however, things didn't pan out as expected. After the demise of The Mint, Michael, Christine, David and Eddie formed The Daltons and released a couple of singles and a self-titled album on the Wizard label in the mid-70s. Stephen Dalton real name Stephen Powell secured a recording contract with Albert Productions and recorded his first solo album 'Celestial Madness'.

I remember a 45 I had of Mint's on the Ramrod label, Sitting In The Park. Such a brilliant song. I find it hard to believe they weren't successful.
