SPUNK BUBBLES

Starting in 1985 the Spunk Bubbles played for four years released one single, "Metal Wench / Treat Me Good", one mini album, 'Speak Lebanese or Die!' and had one track ''Saturday Night'' on the compilation album, 'On the Waterfront Vol 3' released in 1986. Forming after meeting at Hard-Ons shows most of their early gigs were played supporting The Hard-Ons. Once they managed to acquire their own equipment, and not borrow the Hard-Ons's gear, they went on to headline their own shows as well as playing with international bands such as DRI and The Anti-Nowhere League. After being banned from most venues in their hometown of Sydney they decided to call it quits in 1989.

  1. I knew this band well and I can safely say that the photo of the 4 lads with the barbed wire above is not a photo of the Spunk Bubbles.
