Parkinson provided his "facility for soul and blues" for the line-up. They competed in the Hoadley's Battle of the Sounds in July 1967 to finish second behind The Groop. With Parkinson aboard, the Questions issued a run of three "minor psychedelic pop classic" singles, "Sally Go Round the Roses" (July 1967), "And Things Unsaid" (October) and "Something Wonderful" (February 1968). In January 1968 they changed personnel with Ray Burton (ex-Telstars, Dave Bridge Quartet) on guitar and Les Young on bass guitar (ex-Chessmen) replacing Green and McGuire respectively and in the same month supported The Who, Small Faces and Paul Jones on a national tour. A month later the group broke up. Parkinson, McGuire and Green would form the legendary Doug Parkinson In Focus. Duncan McGuire died in 1989 from lung cancer. Rory Thomas died from cancer in 2010. Doug Parkinson died in 2021.
