New Zealand brother and sister duo, Anne and Jimmy Murphy moved to Australia in the mid-1960s and appeared on local variety programs such as Bandstand etc. Anne earlier recorded on New Zealand labels, Zodiac and Viking as a solo act. On arrival in Sydney CBS signed them up where they released a couple of singles. Their last single in Australia was recorded on the Festival label. They then relocated to the USA under the name The Murphys.
