Garry Travers recording career started in the early 1970s. His first single the self-penned ''Leonardo-Vincent-Gauguin'' was released on the Ultimat label in 1971. Moving to the M7 label his next release ''It’s Never Really Over'' which charted at #28 in 1972. He released some more singles, but these only had mild success. He appeared on TV doing shows like The Ernie Sigley Show etc.

I was a big fan of Garry's music. They were catchy songs. I was surprised they didn't reach much higher on the charts.
