5:15

5:15 was a mod revival power trio from Melbourne that had some limited success in the early 80s. Their name was taken from the song "5:15" from the album 'Quadrophenia' by The Who. They released a couple of singles through the label Au Go Go ‎in 1982. All sides were written by Gary Lake except ''Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere'' which was a 1965 release by The Who. A pastiche of power pop, new wave, and mod-related rock, their work has since become a collector's item with a cult following. Ron Williams died in 2013.

Members

  1. Saw 5.15 upstairs at the Francis Hotel supporting The Church. From memory it was a great night of new Aussie music. Maybe 1985? I think it was the first time in Melbourne for The Church.
