MORT AND THE MOBEES


This mid-sixties Perth-based band came second to The Valentines in the 1966 Perth heat of the Hoadleys Battle of The Sounds. Sometimes the band members would be seen driving around in a hearse, dressed as undertakers! They released one single "Can't You See? / The Wind Blew Into My Eyes" on the Action label in 1966. Managed by the legendary Keith McGowan. Daryl Chance died in 2012.

  1. Hi, I just thought I would let you know Darrell Chance sadly passed away in 2012 (not 2020) He was a good friend and he is sadly missed.
