ADRIAN USSHER

Adrian Ussher started his career in the late 50s singing with The Moontones. He left that group and joined vocal group The Thin Men for a couple of years (1961-62). He began his solo career in 1963 and released a number of singles on the W&G label with ''Talk Back Trembling Lips'' being the most successful. The interesting thing to note about this record is The Seekers provided backing vocals uncredited. He was also part of the highly successful duo Pam & Ade (with Pam Bradley) from 1963-64. After his singing career he branched out as a jingle writer composing for Colgate Palmolive, Uncle Bens, Arnotts Biscuits, Masterfoods, CPA, Berger Paints, St George and P&O to name a few. Became Director of Television at Australia's largest Ad Agency for over ten years.
