Mick Rogers (ex The Playboys, Doug Parkinson In Focus and Procession) formed Bulldog with Bob Dames (ex-The Purple Hearts) and Peter Miles (ex-Bay City Union) in 1970. They were a progressive hard rock three-piece band that only ever released the one single "Man of Constant Sorrow / Inner Spring" in 1970. This particular single was released in Australia on Fable Records and in the U.S. on the small Guyden label. They disbanded when Rogers joined Manfred Mann's Earth Band.

Rogers went on to play in Manfred Mann's Earth Band. He took some Aussie songs with him, though. Check out Manfred Mann's Earth Band covers of Spectrum's "I'll Be Gone" and Chain's "Black and Blue". Cheers.
