When In Focus disbanded Doug Parkinson and Johnny Dick relocated to the United Kingdom where, in June 1970, they formed Fanny Adams with Vince Melouney on guitar and vocals (ex-Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, the Bee Gees) and Teddy Toi on bass guitar (ex-Max Merritt and the Meteors, Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs). Parkinson "conveyed considerable charisma with his imposing presence and gruff, raspy voice." The group recorded their self-titled album in London and returned to Australia in December but disbanded a month later. Fanny Adams appeared posthumously in June 1971 on MCA Records; which musicologist Ian McFarlane described as exemplifying "adventurous, heavy, progressive blues-rock''. The album was released in the USA, Germany, Canada, NZ, Japan and .Italy. A single was lifted off the album ''Got To Get A Message To You / They're All Losers, Honey'' but went nowhere. Aztecs Records re-released the remastered album in 2023. Drummer Johnny Dick died in 2017. Doug Parkinson died in 2021. Teddy Toi died in 2022.
