AGENTS

Jamie Francis Griffin started his musical career in 1979 with a self-financed four-track extended play, 'James Griffin'. He formed a country and rock music group, Agents, in 1980 with Lindy Allen on bass guitar, Kydric Shaw on guitar (ex-Gypsy Train) and Robyn Walsh on drums. This line-up released a three-track independent single, ''Suburbs Of The Heart / Night People / Behind The Noise'' (1980). The second line-up was Griffin backed by Guy Bennetts (drums), Karl May (bass) and Kydric Shaw (keyboards, guitar). They released their second independent single, "Merciless Cinema / Manhattan Project" in 1981. A further lineup change occurred with Kim Knight on bass and Phillip Hrywka on drums (ex-The Faggots) joining the band and recording their last single, ''Seven Samurai / Pictures Of You And Me''. Kydric Shaw died in 2018.
