In late 1978, ex Redhouse members John Dallimore, Rick Crothall and Robin Riley formed a new band - a loud, heavy rock band in the tradition of Rose Tattoo and AC/DC. The band were modestly called Dallimore. The band issued one single called "We Are The Kids", in August 1980. Dallimore was a fantastic live band but perhaps due to the lack of success of the single, John Dallimore accepted an offer from Jon English to join his backing band the Foster Brothers band. Riley would later join Rose Tattoo.

Dallimore actually recorded an entire album at Alberts Studios but due to legal issues involving management, the album was never released. Instead, they quickly released a rushed single “We Are The Kids” which was never really a true representation of the quality songwriting the band had demonstrated in their numerous live shows.
