Indie Pop band, Rabbits Wedding hailed from Perth, Western Australia. School friends Richard V Shallcross and Paul Watling formed the group in 1984 adding Matthew Hall on bass and Philip Rawlinson on drums. In search of greener pastures, the band shifted operations across the continent to Sydney where their debut single ''Rideout / Someone As'' was released in 1986 on the startup Distant Violins label. Their following records, all released on the famed Australian indie label - Waterfront Records - included the lauded mini albums, 'In Truth About Road’ and 'Showtime' as well as the shimmering pop single ''Coming Like Summer''. The group disappeared off the radar in 1989 without a whisper.
