Sydney folk trio formed in 1969 with Brian O'Toole, David Cooper and Siobhan Sheppard. The Charade only released one album, 1969’s self-titled album on Parlophone produced by Gus McNeil. Sheppard was replaced by 17 year old Linda Keene who began her singing career at The Shack in Narrabeen in the 1960's. The trio became the resident folk group on the popular television show Bandstand. They won Vocal Group of the year award in 1971.
