COLOURED RAIN


Popular Adelaide band formed in the late 1960s, who relocated to Melbourne in the early '70s. Various highlights during this time included coming in second place at the Hoadley's Battle of the Sounds in 1969 (South Australia section) and supporting Frijid Pink on the Adelaide leg of their Australian tour in 1970. The band appeared on state and national TV pop shows, including Melbourne ATVO's Up-Tight and NSW-9's Move. They also did frequent reviews/interviews in national pop music magazines such as Go-Set; and released two singles on the Sunshine and Pepper labels.
