INTOXICA

Intoxica emerged from the demise of The Corpse Grinders in 1987 and the name wasn't the only thing that changed. The Corpse Grinders were a gloriously madcap psychobilly riot but Intoxica was free to add echoes of primal garage in The Sonics, the surf sounds of The Ventures, Eddie Bertrand and Dick Dale, the twang of the Buckaroos and the rave of Hasil Adkins. Intoxica started gigging in 1987 and haven't stopped. They've released three albums, and their songs feature on numerous compilations. They've opened for Deborah Harry, Dick Dale and The Stray Cats.
