WHO'S GERALD?

Who's Gerald? was a blues hip hop outfit formed in Brisbane in 1986 with David McCormack on guitar and vocals, plus schoolteachers Paul Medew on bass and Glen Donald on keyboards. Later they recruited Cathy Atthow on drums. The band released a cassette, 'Who's Gerald's Greatest Hits' in the same year on their own Gerald Corp Records. In March 1988 they released a single, "Wrestle Wrestle / Gerald Is Stumbling Away Along The Highway Of Life" and had the track, "Pins and Needles" appear on that year's 'Youngblood' compilation released on the RooArt label. Atthow, McCormack and Medew briefly formed Automatic Graphic in 1988 with Scott Younger. McCormack would go on to form successful band Custard that released five studio albums in the 1990s.
