THIRD UNION BAND


Started out as Johnny and The Ringworms with Red McKelvie (ex-Starving Wild Dogs), Peter Knox, Dave Ovenden (ex-The Richard Wright Group) and Grahame Lister in the early 70s. A name change soon followed and they became The Third Union Band. Released one single on the ATA label and they appeared on GTK. The band played regularly at The Clique. Harry Brus (ex-The Amazons) replaced Knox after the band recorded an album that has never been released. Dave Ovenden died in 2020. Red McKelvie died in 2022.
