ROCK AND ROLL SHOW

Rock And Roll Show formed in 1972 in Perth and quickly became a hit on the local live music scene, playing at all the major venues in the city. They also toured regional WA and even made it to the eastern states. In 1974, they released their first single, ''Lover, Please / At The Hop'', on the Sunshine label, followed in 1976 by ''Hey Rock And Roll / The King Of The Jive'' on the Clarion label—both covers of the English band Showaddywaddy. That same year, they supported Chuck Berry during his Perth tour stop. With frequent lineup changes, sometimes having up to seven members, the band kept going until the early ’80s. In 1993, they reunited for a one-off show.
