GARY YOUNG



Gary Young (born 1947 in New York) is an American-born Australian drummer who has played in many bands over the course of 60 years. Those bands being The Rondells, The Changing Times, Ram Jam Big Band, The Laurie Allen Revue, Sons of the Vegetal Mother, Daddy Cool and Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons. He also recorded a number of singles backed by Daddy Cool, The Rocking Emus or Hot Dog. His most successful release was ''Rock 'N Roll Lady'' in 1972. Young was twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as a member of both Daddy Cool and Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons which were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
