THE LEEMEN

Formed in the late 50s The Leemen were Lonnie Lee's backing band that released one single ''Johnny Guitar'' on the Leedon label in 1960. The single was reasonably successful and made the top 20. This single was also released in NZ and the USA. Another two EP's followed. The band went through many lineup changes during its existence. Peter Bazley died in 1999.
