1970s Newcastle band who were influenced by Yes, King Crimson, Vanilla Fudge and Rick Wakeman. Signed to the M7 label they released a single ''Come Out With Your Hands Up Baby'' in 1975 and a self titled album. The Marshall Brothers had a fiercely loyal following mainly centred around the Belmont-Swansea-Caves Beach area. The Mawson Hotel was the band's headquarters from start to finish although they played gigs from Port Macquarie to the north and to Sydney in the south. They performed in Phil Avalon's film Summer City in 1978.
