Mick Pealing (ex-Stars) formed Spaniards with Bill Miller (ex-The Ferrets) and keyboardist Mark Mannock in 1983. They released a single ''God Is A Shield'' produced by Molly Meldrum on IC Records in 1984 which charted at #54. Adding Russell Helyer-Brown on bass, they were picked up by EMI and released two singles and a mini album, ''Locked In A Dance''. Disbanded in 1986 and then reformed in the same year with Mick Pealing (vocals), Russell Brown (bass), Chris Ziros (guitar), Antony Ziros (drums) and Mark Mannock (keyboards). They called it quits in 1989.
