CONEHEADS


Adelaide band The Coneheads were formed in the 80s. They were originally known as Zippy and The Coneheads. The initial lineup was Ted Keeley on vocals, Andrew Bunney and Richard Warldall on guitars, Nick Burton on bass and Peter Graves on drums. Their sound was a mixture of bubblegum music and Ramones punk/garage rock. They recorded on the Greasy Pop label. They released their first single which contained three tracks, ''Barn Burnin /Action / Evil Little Elmer'' in 1986 followed by ''Chewy Chewy / Skippin Skippin Skippin'' in 1987. Drummer Rachel Hannaford joined the band after their second single replacing James Braund. Their only album 'Bum' was released by Greasy Pop in 1990.
