Wonder how many people know exactly how wonderful the achievements of "Rick Adams" were ? He arrived in this country, worldly goods in a grey blanket and hanging onto the hand of his widowed Mum. Pakistani immigrants, 'Keith' (Born Fredrick Keith Deatker, named for his late Father), later became a porter on the Adelaide Railway Station when, at 16 he appeared on "Employee's Playtime" under the watchful eye of Bob “Two Guns” Fricker, singing "Honeymoon on a Rocket Ship" . . . the rest, as they say, is history. Sadly, like his Father before him, Keith's lion heart was physically weak and we lost a fine artist with his passing. Fondly remembered by his very first fan . . . They broke the mould when he left us.
