  3. Hi there

I've been looking for photos of Bruce Groves who played with Johnny Hawker Big Band in the seventies. I worked for Bruce at Glass' Dealers Guide publishers in South Melbourne. He often invited a colleage and I along to the Anchor & Hope, South Yarra, Palais, Musician's Union (I think). If my facts are correct he was hit by a car getting off a cable tram in New Orleans. He always looked out for us at work, a very kind man and it only seems like yesterday. I would dearly love to find a photo. Kind regards, Carmie Boyd.

    1. Maybe look up his sons, Andrew or Peter Groves, haven’t been in touch with them for a while, but they may be able to help
