Lyn and Jan Field grew up on a dairy farm at Nambrook near Sale Victoria. ''It was Daddy who started us singing'' Lyn said. ''He has quiet a voice himself and often sang at local concerts and dances. He had us take singing lessons at ten years of age and later we learnt the piano and guitar''. The twins moved to Melbourne and secured a recording contract with Go!! Records. Their only single, ''Someone Cares For Me / Temptation'' was released in 1966. The twins appeared on TV's The Go!! Show and Be Our Guest. In 1966 they left for Vietnam to entertain the troops and appeared on stage with the likes of Danny Kaye and Vicki Carr.
